Genoa ... and I realized a fact that, in hindsight, should not be the norm but the exception: if you want to be informed about what is happening in the world do not rely on TV.
especially in the Italian TV.
for example, I heard about the earthquake in New Zealand a few days ago - with hundreds of victims - only today, taking the connection in rete.
conosco personalmente almeno due persone che vivono in quelle isole agli antipodi, quindi la notizia non è per me così irrilevante come qualcuno potrebbe pensare.
a parte il fatto che anche se non conoscessi neozelandesi o emigrati, la notizia di un terremoto così grave mi sembra possa meritare gli onori della cronaca anche in italia.
ma già, qui da noi se non si tratta di calcio o di reality show, non gliene frega una beata fava greca a nessuno…
…stenderei volentieri un velo pietroso sulla tv nazionale, anche stavolta con l'aggiunta del bitume…
